What we specialize in

Battery Pack Design & Development
Battery packs are not one-size-fits-all and neither are your missions. We’ll ensure the heartbeat of your platform can withstand the rigors of variable mission environments and conditions.

PCB Chassis, Enclosure & Mounting Design
Printed circuit boards are the brains behind every modern machine, and Packet Digital can help you design, assemble and test the most effective and secure PCB for your application.

Custom Component Design & Development
From battery pack mounting challenges to the development of electronics enclosure, we have the expertise to bring your ideas to life.

Thermal & Structural Simulation & Analysis
Surviving the vibration and shock loads experienced on a drone is critical, as is ensuring safe operation under extreme temperatures. Our products are designed, simulated and tested to provide you peace of mind in the field.

Wire Harness Design & Outsourcing for Manufacture
Wire harnesses are too important for guesswork. Count on our experienced team to design and assemble your exact spec to ensure successful operations.

3D Printing for Prototyping or Small Batch Production
Our experience with 3D printing can give form to your concepts, helping you to close the deal or get into the game.

What is UN 38.3 certification and why is it important?
UN 38.3 refers to Section 38.3 of the UN Manual of Tests and Criteria, issued by the United Nations, that sets the global safety standard for international battery shipping. Every lithium cell and finished battery pack must pass testing that simulates unusual failure modes and transportation stressors. UN 38.3 defines this set of tests that simulate those stresses so transportation of lithium batteries can be done safely and reliably.
